Join us from 5.00pm for Winton Walk of Fame.
Feature: Limbo
Limbo follows Travis (Simon Baker), a detective who arrives in a remote outback town to investigate a twenty year-old outback cold case murder. Acclaimed director Ivan Sen (Mystery Road, Goldstone, Beneath Clouds), directs this compassionate, intimate journey into the complexities of loss and the impact of the justice system on First Nations families. Shot in a startling monochrome, this is a story of reopening old wounds and the promise of redemption.
Pre-screening: 10 Years of Kolperi Outback Filmmaking
Screening before the main feature, 10 Years of Kolperi Outback Filmmaking will showcase the best Griffith Film School student films shot in and around Winton. With films starring industry names like Guyton Grantley (Underbelly), Roy Billing (The Dish) to Winton's own Mayor, Gavin Baskett, this celebration will highlight the next generation of filmmaking talent, many of whom are already making a name for themselves in Industry.
